After School Club

How does it work?

In today's modern world parents are looking for flexibility when choosing their childcare provider. At the 'Big A Club' we provide the flexibility where you can choose the volume of care that you require on a week-to-week basis if you wish to, a service where you can book one day or five, the choice is yours.

Each week you will be required to book and pay for the childcare that you require the following week, (or further in advance if you would like to.) this can be comlpeted either online through the web page (if your club is listed) or directly with the afterschool club for those that are not listed online. Friday is our cut-off day for booking, paying, or canceling for teh following week and No booking can be made without the appropriate payment in advance of attendance.

On the days that you have reserved your child/children will be collected from their classroom by a member of staff who will escort the children back to the after-school club within the school. Each school will have a slightly different system.

For those children who are attending the longer of our two sessions there is a provision of a fruit snack for the children at appoxiamatly 4.15pm.  Each day the children will have a variety of outdoor and indoor activities on offer to choose from. The planning within each unit is child-led with the that we meet the demands of each child within our care.

Pricing

The after-school pricing is the same at all of our clubs with two sessions availabe, a 4pm ending session or a 6pm ending session. ( You can of course collect any time before the end of the session booked.)

4pm session - £6.50 per child.

6pm session - £16 for the first child with an additional sibling price of £14.f

1.30pm - 3pm - £8.50 per child, this session is for those schools that have an earlier finish on a Friday.

There are two booking/payment systems in place, (some schools are on our online system others are directly with the club within the school)  All sessions are pre-booked and paid for a week in advance directly with the after-school club, payment can be made in one of four ways: cheque, cash, childcare vouchers, or the government childcare tax scheme please note there are no card facilities on site.

When approaching a half-term break the booking and payment will be required before the break for the first week back at school. If payment is made via vouchers or the government childcare tax scheme then a remittance is required at the time of booking, this can be a screenshot or a printed hard copy.

Any new term September offers are only available to newly registered children who have not used our services before.

We do not credit for any sessions canceled on the week.

All bookings and payments are completed a week in advance with the Friday of the preceding week being the cut-off day for bookings and payments to be made. Any emergency bookings made after this time are subject to the on-the-week booking charge of £5 per day per child after school and £2.50 per child per morning, this is at the discrepency of the management team and is not for casual use.
